Who were Nice & Wild?
They were 3 guys from South Florida: Reggie, David Torres, and Remy Palacio.

Was that how they started?
No. The original lead singer was John Minnis.

When were they at their height of popularity?
In 1986 and 1987, especially after releasing the 1986 megahit “Diamond Girl.”

What else did they release?
They put out an album titled Energy, Love, and Unity, in 1987. That included the single “Obsession.” While they reemerged in 1993 with remixes of “Diamond Girl,” and 2 years later with a new song “Infatuation,” as a group they did not have any hits bigger than “Diamond Girl.” However, the individual members had some hits on their own.

Well, in 1990, Remy released “Another Lover;” David Torres recorded some singles for MicMac Records, such as “Your Love,” “I’m Not Gonna Cry Over You,” “Love is the Answer,” and “No Regrets.” In 1988, John Minnis released “One More Chance,” and the next year saw his release of “Swept Away.” The early 1990s were busy for John Minnis, with “Shame,” “Tantalizing Girl,” and “If I Ever.”
