If you listen to Reinald-O’s songs, you may notice that the vocals sound different from song to song. That’s because record label used 3 men to sing on the albums. One used the name Reinald-O, another of them was Rei Summers, and the third was Sammy Zone.

Who were Promise Circle?
Promise Circle was the Miami duo Raul Rodriguez and Alina Blanco.
How did Promise Circle become a hit?
In 1987, Raul and Alina sent a demo to Power 96, a dance music station out of Miami. Atlantic Records was always listening to that station, and offered Raul and Alina a record deal, as they did so many other artists they heard on Power 96.
What were their hits?
“Be Mine Tonight” was an enormous hit, followed by “Easy to Touch,”. produced by Company B’s producer Ish.
What happened next?
The duo dissolved. Alina recorded solo under the name Fontaine. Her single “Seduced” saw a little club success. Promise Circle did release one last single on Pandisc Records in 1990, “And the Beat Goes On,” but then packed it in.
